From September 1st to 3rd, 2026, the 29th China International Composites Industry Technology Exhibition (CCE 2026) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Shanghai MAKA Aviation Equipment Co., Ltd., in partnership with Germany's MAKA Systems GmbH, showcased its BC570 series five-axis gantry machining center at the exhibition, attracting numerous professional visitors from composite material application fields such as aerospace, low-altitude economy, rail transportation, new energy, wind power, and shipbuilding.

The three-day exhibition was a warm reunion of old and new friends. Many long-term clients came as scheduled, and quite a few new faces also came to our booth with their needs.

A team of senior engineers from Shanghai Maca was on-site throughout the event, providing in-depth technical explanations on topics such as five-axis machining of carbon fiber composites, dry cutting processes, and automated production line integration. The team analyzed and answered questions from clients regarding various process challenges, drawing on their past project experience. From batch processing of small and medium-sized parts to customized production of large structural components, the three-day exhibition, though small, witnessed the most sincere experience sharing and intellectual exchange among composite material professionals.

The BC570 series five-axis gantry machining center is a high-performance bridge-type gantry machining center designed specifically for lightweight materials and large, complex structural components. It is widely applicable to the efficient and precision machining of composite materials such as carbon fiber, glass fiber, foam, and aramid honeycomb, as well as aluminum alloy products. This series has successfully served leading domestic aerospace manufacturing companies such as AVIC, Shenyang Aircraft Corporation, Shanghai Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., AVIC Composite Materials, China National Building Materials Aviation, and KTEX.

BC570-1

While continuing to deepen its expertise in the aerospace field, Shanghai Maca is actively expanding its five-axis gantry machining technology to emerging scenarios such as wind power and shipbuilding.

  • In the wind power sector: BC570 series blades are designed for large blade molds, which require high precision and have a wide size range. They can meet the full-process processing needs from mold manufacturing to blade prototyping.

  • In the shipbuilding sector: For the processing of lightweight composite material hull structural components, the BC570 series' efficient dust removal and flexible clamping solutions effectively ensure the processing quality and efficiency of large curved surface structural components.
